A canoe, kayak or paddleboard will take you to places you cannot visit by foot, car or motorboat, while it provides a wonderful day or evening paddle, away from the rush of city life. These vessels help you discover wonders on far-flung trips and on your own local waterway. They are the perfect way to spend memorable times with friends and family.

The Undercurrents team of instructors shares that philosophy. Our enthusiastic professional instructors specialize in teaching you the skills you need in a fun, comfortable and safe environment.

Undercurrents instructors are certified by Paddle Canada, the national instructional body for paddlesports. They continually upgrade their skills in teaching and paddling, knowing that the courses they teach are critical to your enjoyment and success with paddling! Our instructors have a remarkable sense of pride in their their instructional abilities. They are the best! Our low ratio of participants to instructor ensures a quality program! You get individual attention during every course! Our canoes kayaks, paddleboards and gear are all current models and kept in good shape! We only use modern equipment!

Reservations and Refunds

Full payment is due at the time of registration to secure your spot in a lesson. 

On the rare occasion when Undercurrents cancels a lesson, we will issue a full refund or make every reasonable effort to register you in an equivalent program; it is your choice.

If you cancel more than 7 days prior to the course commencement, you will receive a full refund less our $10 administrative fee. There is no refund if you cancel within 7 days of the course.
