Paddleboard (SUP) Discovery Clinic
Description:
This pool-based clinic is a short introduction to the basics of paddleboarding (SUP) - "walking on water." It is ideal if you are wondering if SUP'ing is for you, or to prepare for travelling somewhere hot this winter! In this clinic, you will be taught how to safely get onto your board, how to stand-up and a few basic strokes to get you going.
Expected Outcome:
Upon completion of this clinic, you will have a taste for paddleboarding, have basic board control skills and be able to safely mount your board and stand up.
Notes:
This course takes place at Mount Royal University pool (map). Parking is free! Paddleboard, leash and paddle are provided. Come prepared to have fun and get wet!
Prerequisite:
16+ years old (or 12-15 years old with a guardian in the pool).
